Football Recap: Walter Anderson and Anthony Marisa Pace Greater Johnstown Defense + How To Watch

Greater Johnstown had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it six. They fell 14-6 to the Central Dragons. The Trojans lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in September of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-6 score last time.

Greater Johnstown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Walter Anderson and Anthony Marisa.

As for Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Greater Johnstown is ranked 427th).

Semaj Musei had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 146 yards while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended three passes.
