Basketball Game Preview: Blue Valley North Mustangs vs. Lincoln East Spartans

The Blue Valley North Mustangs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lincoln East Spartans at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Blue Valley North is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lincoln Southeast just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked third in Kansas, while the Knights are ranked 36th in Nebraska).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lincoln East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Blue Valley by a score of 50-42 on Friday.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Lincoln East, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
