Soccer Game Preview: Victor Valley vs. Silverado

The Victor Valley Jackrabbits are taking a road trip to take on the Silverado Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Victor Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Victor Valley fell victim to Adelanto and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. That's two games in a row now that the Jackrabbits have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Silverado also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Barstow by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Aztecs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Victor Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-3. As for Silverado, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-11-3.

Victor Valley took their victory against Silverado in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Does Victor Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Silverado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
