Volleyball Game Preview: Mount Academy Eagles vs. Millbrook Blazers

The Mount Academy Eagles will head out to square off against the Millbrook Blazers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mount Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Monday, Mount Academy got the win against Saugerties by a conclusive 3-0.

Mount Academy never let Saugerties on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-13.

Spackenkill typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Millbrook proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1.

Millbrook walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

Mount Academy better keep an eye on Cc Grey. She was instrumental in Millbrook's win, getting 13 digs and two aces.

Millbrook was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matches.

Mount Academy's record now sits at 37-4-2. As for Millbrook, their record is now 20-11-8.

Mount Academy took their victory against Millbrook in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
