Southside waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Parkway Panthers as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Southside pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Parkway, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
