After a string of three wins, Florida Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors by a score of 2-1.

Steven Gonzalez was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

At the plate, Florida Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowen Plasencia, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
