Softball Recap: West Lincoln Comes Up Short

West Lincoln managed to slip by Bunker Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The West Lincoln Rebels came up short against the Bunker Hill Bears on Tuesday, falling 11-2. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabrielle Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

West Lincoln now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bunker Hill, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Lincoln will welcome Foard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bunker Hill, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against East Burke at 6:00 p.m.
