Basketball Recap: Colfax Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Upper Columbia Academy last Tuesday, Colfax came back down to earth. The Colfax Bulldogs fell to the Liberty Lancers 56-52. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Colfax's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

When Colfax and Liberty next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Colfax will try to stop Freeman's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Colfax is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Liberty will square off against Davenport and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
