The Mission Bay Buccaneers were dealt a 46-7 defeat at the hands of the Holtville Vikings on Friday. Trey Arnold threw for 173 yards and a touchdown. Kai Barrios was his top target, picking up 115 receiving yards.

Mission Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Holtville, the victory was the ninth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.
