It was a good run, but Kewanee unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Manual Rams. Kewanee were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manual apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kewanee now has a losing record of 9-10-2. As for Manual, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-6-1.

Kewanee has already played their next contest (against Mendota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Manual, they are taking a road trip to square off against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
