Volleyball Game Preview: Nevada Tigers vs. Lamar Tigers

Nevada will challenge Lamar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nevada will be strutting in after a win while Lamar will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Nevada got the win against Aurora by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Nevada was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lamar challenged Miller on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost six in a row.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6-3. As for Nevada, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Nevada took their victory against Lamar in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Does Nevada have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lamar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
