Preview: New Site Royals vs. O'Bannon Greenwaves
The New Site Royals will stay at home for another game and welcome the O'Bannon Greenwaves at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
New Site proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 26) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged East Union out 51-49.
Chloe Chism continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ayla Stanley, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, O'Bannon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Leflore County 54-27 at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
New Site has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for O'Bannon, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
