Basketball Recap: Athens Bible Takes a Loss

If Athens Bible was feeling good fresh off their 51-29 takedown of Lindsay Lane Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Athens Bible Trojans took a blow against the Ardmore Tigers on Saturday, falling 77-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since November 27, 2024.

Athens Bible now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Ardmore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Athens Bible will square off against Cullman Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Ardmore, they will face off against East Limestone at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Limestone will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Ardmore surely won't give up without a fight.
