Volleyball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Comes Up Short

If Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Durham School of the Arts two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 15-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cardinal Gibbons, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and Cardinal Gibbons will both be playing Jordan the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spartans will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th.
