Baseball Recap: Oxbow Takes a Loss

Oxbow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Montpelier Solons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Olympians of the 19-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Oxbow's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Montpelier, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbow will square off against Lake Region at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montpelier, they will venture away from home to square off against Lyndon Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
