Mountainside extends home losing streak to 11

Recap: Mountainside Wolves vs. Northland Prep Academy Spartans

The Mountainside Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 47-31 to Northland Prep Academy. Mountainside has not had much luck with Northland Prep Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Northland Prep Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ian Karren, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Gordon, who scored seven points along with three steals.

Mountainside bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Northland Prep Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.
