Lutheran got themselves on the board against Southfield Christian on Tuesday, but Southfield Christian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lutheran and bumps their season record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Southfield Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will challenge Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Southfield Christian, they will face off against Parkway Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Southfield Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
