Basketball Game Preview: Royse City Bulldogs vs. Longview Lobos

The Royse City Bulldogs will take on the Longview Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Royse City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Forney, but they still walked away with a 67-61 victory. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Falcons are ranked 531st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Longview came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 51-47 win over North Forney on Friday.

Longview's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Royse City, they have also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Royse City came up short against Longview when the teams last played back in January, falling 63-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Longview's Demarion Williams, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 boards.
