Baseball Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss

High Tech CV was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valhalla Norsemen.

Adrian Gallegos made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those runs were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Gomez, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two runs.

High Tech CV's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Valhalla, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

High Tech CV wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-0 loss against Lincoln on the 12th. As for Valhalla, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-1 defeat against Madison on the 16th.
