Mount Vernon kept a clean sheet against Blaine on Saturday. They beat the Borderites by a goal, winning 1-0. Mount Vernon have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Blaine, too.

The victory got Mount Vernon back to even at 4-4-4. As for Blaine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
