Christ Chapel Academy won the last time they faced Fairfax Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. Christ Chapel Academy came out on top against the Fairfax Christian Cardinals by a score of 44-36.

Christ Chapel Academy found their leader in freshman Nyanbuot Woul Makec, who posted 12 points.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brianna Etter, who scored 12 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Etter has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Tanisha Mohorikar was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 15 points.

Christ Chapel Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Fairfax Christian is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Christ Chapel Academy has already played their next contest, a 54-29 victory against Quantico on the 26th. Fairfax Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
