Zymire Spencer Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Pinecrest got the W thanks in part to Zymire Spencer playing the best football he has all season. Spencer rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Hoke County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Spencer it was a similar story. When Spencer last faced the Bucks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Tyjurian White Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Scotland got the W thanks in part to Tyjurian White playing the best football he has all season. White rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 86 yards.
Scotland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. White and Scotland will venture away from home to take on Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Najm Made His Presence Known in Pinecrest's 46-26 Victory
The second Pinecrest player making an appearance here is Chris Najm, and for good reason. He rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
Pinecrest and Union Pines are set to duel on Friday. The contest will pit Najm up against the Vikings' star running back Jeremiah Carraway. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Another Scotland player making an appearance on this list is Ji'San McPhatter. He threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Quatavius Everette Leads Scotland over Lee County
Quatavius Everette produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Scotland to the win on Friday. Everette picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
