Softball Game Preview: South Iredell Vikings vs. A.L. Brown Wonders

The South Iredell Vikings will challenge the A.L. Brown Wonders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, South Iredell came up short against Lake Norman and fell 10-7.

Meanwhile, A.L. Brown suffered their biggest loss since March 20th on Tuesday. They lost 13-3 to Mooresville.

Marynda Blackwelder was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Myla McNeely, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

A.L. Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for South Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

South Iredell beat A.L. Brown 10-5 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Wonders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
