Softball Recap: Santiam Wolverines vs. East Linn Christian Academy Eagles        
        
		
            
 Santiam put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They never let the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles onto the board and left with  an   18-0  victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Santiam.
  McKenna Dodge was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Dodge has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Dodge was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 In other batting news,  Boston Flores and  McKayla Dodge did most of the damage at the plate:  Flores  went 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Dodge  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Dodge is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Brookelyn Massey, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Santiam is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. As for East Linn Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with that  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santiam will take on Culver at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Santiam is facing Culver at the right time seeing as Culver is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for East Linn Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Regis at 4:00  p.m.
