Clarke County extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Alainah Mckavish. The Clarke County Eagles took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 60-32 win over the Madison County Mountaineers thanks in part to Mckavish, who went 9-for-12 on her way to 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Her evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Paige Mckavish, who posted three points and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Despite the loss, Madison County still got an impressive performance from Willa Lewis, who put up eight points and nine boards.

Clarke County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Madison County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Clarke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-18 win against Stonewall Jackson on the 14th. As for Madison County, they have also already played their next game, a 37-33 loss against Rappahannock County on the 13th.
