Volleyball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline and KIPP King squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Skyline had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Skyline took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 17-25, 17-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for KIPP King, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP King, they will face off against Oakland Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
