Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Wisner-Pilger won the last time they faced Neligh-Oakdale and things went their way on Saturday too. The Gators walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.

Wisner-Pilger easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17.

Charli Jacobs paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up eight kills. Jacobs got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 22 assists. Paislie Burki controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wisner-Pilger's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-14. As for Neligh-Oakdale, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-19.

Wisner-Pilger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Douglas County West on the 11th. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Winnebago on the 11th.
