Godley is 0-3 against Ferris since February of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Godley Wildcats will be playing at home against the Ferris Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m.
Godley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 7-2 walloping at the hands of Life Waxahachie. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Godley was already down 5-0.
Meanwhile, Ferris scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Venus a 6-0 shutout. Benjamin Harp was a massive factor in the win, as he booted in three goals all by himself.
Godley's loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Ferris, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
