Volleyball Recap: Harding Presidents vs. Bunnell Bulldogs

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Bunnell Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 27-29, 25-15.

Leading Bunnell to victory were Jake Camperlango and Erick Cordero Hernandez. Camperlango had five aces, while Cordero Hernandez had eight kills, four digs, and three aces. That's the most aces Cordero Hernandez has posted over his last six games. Trevor Good also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bunnell, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding will take on Bridgeport Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bunnell, they will welcome Joel Barlow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
