UME Preparatory Academy falls despite strong effort from Will Lupton

The UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES lost against the ILTexas Arlington Eagles last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. UME Preparatory Academy took a hard 48-31 fall against ILTexas Arlington. UME Preparatory Academy has not had much luck with ILTexas Arlington recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, UME Preparatory Academy still got an impressive performance from Will Lupton, who scored 12 points. That was a full 38.7% of UME Preparatory Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Barnes, who scored seven points.

ILTexas Arlington was led to victory by Jeremiah Burress and Sean Tang. Burress scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Tang scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tang has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Timothy Oyekola, who scored seven points.

UME Preparatory Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for ILTexas Arlington, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-14.

UME Preparatory Academy will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for ILTexas Arlington, they will head out on the road to challenge Newman International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newman International Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 426 points over their last six matches.
