Marysville lost to Chapman back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Marysville Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Chapman Irish 66-25. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Irish are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chapman's loss came despite strong showings from Jed Moody and Drew Elliott. Moody posted nine points, while Elliott put up five points.

Marysville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Chapman, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Marysville has already played their next contest, a 63-54 loss against Concordia on the 4th. As for Chapman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-20 defeat against Clay Center on the 4th.
