Volleyball Game Preview: Buchholz Bobcats vs. Oviedo Lions

The Buchholz Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Oviedo Lions at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Buchholz will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Buchholz is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Lake Howell 3-0.

Buchholz walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

Buchholz found their leader in sophomore Julia Almond, who had 18 assists and seven digs. Almond is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Oviedo made easy work of Pace on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.

Buchholz's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Oviedo, their victory bumped their record up to 21-6.
