Volleyball Recap: Intermountain Christian Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Intermountain Christian and Draper APA meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Intermountain Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Draper APA found their leader in sophomore Evie Martinez, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Intermountain Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Draper APA, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3.

Intermountain Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on the 25th. As for Draper APA, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against American Heritage on the 25th.
