Oak Ridge was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against New Madrid County Central on Thursday. The Blue Jays never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Jays, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Cohen Hahs tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kade Schilling was incredible, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden McFall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run.
Oak Ridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
