Volleyball Recap: Wes-Del Warriors vs. Yorktown Tigers

Wes-Del lost against Yorktown back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Taylor Freeman paced Wes-Del's offense, picking up six kills. Freeman got some help from Presley Durr and her 12 assists. Finally, Aubrey Antrim kept Wes-Del's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Yorktown found their leader in freshman Landree Johnson, who had 25 assists and six digs. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.
