Volleyball Recap: Tipton Has No Trouble Against Linn

It was a proper cat-fight when Tipton took on Linn on Thursday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

While Tipton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

Kaylee Kuschel paced Tipton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kuschel got some help from Kaylie Kohler and her 29 assists. Ava Schlotzhauer controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Tipton's record now sits at 13-7-2. As for Linn, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-2.

Tipton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against New Bloomfield on the 7th. As for Linn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Rolla on the 4th.
