Soccer Game Preview: Sunrise Mountain vs. Bradshaw Mountain

The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs will face off against the Bradshaw Mountain Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sunrise Mountain comes in on five and Bradshaw Mountain on four.

On Tuesday, Sunrise Mountain needed a bit of extra time to put away Centennial. They came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 6-4. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Coyotes are ranked 83rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sunrise Mountain's offense was hitting Centennial from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Tristan Begazo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw Mountain made easy work of Mohave on Wednesday and carried off a 10-2 victory. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by five goals or more this season.

Sunrise Mountain pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Bradshaw Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1.
