It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but New Britain ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 28-22 W over the Glastonbury Guardians. The victory was familiar territory for the Golden Hurricanes, who have now won three contests in a row.

Leading New Britain to victory were Billy Seymour and Jayden Allen. Seymour rushed for 115 yards and two scores on only 12 carries, while Allen rushed for 128 yards and a pair of TDs. Allen is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 117 every time he's taken the field this season.

Dante Casdia and Connor Finnerty certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Casdia gained 175 total yards and a touchdown, while Finnerty rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown.

New Britain's record is now 5-1. As for Glastonbury, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.
