Soccer Game Preview: McKay vs. Woodburn

The McKay Royal Scots will take on the Woodburn Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McKay proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against West Albany, sneaking past 3-2.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Woodburn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand South Albany a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. Woodburn haven't had any issues with South Albany recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

McKay now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Woodburn, the win got them back to even at 4-4-2.

McKay beat Woodburn 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Royal Scots repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
