Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

Ridgewood suffered their biggest defeat since April 23rd on Friday. They came up short against the Newark Catholic Green Wave, falling 8-1. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Green Wave: they've now lost four in a row.

Ridgewood now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Newark Catholic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Ridgewood will take on Union Local in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Newark Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against Willard at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
