Basketball Recap: Andrei Hojas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tiospaye Topa over Oelrichs

Tiospaye Topa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oelrichs Tigers. While the Thunderhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 18-9 in the first quarter.

Tiospaye Topa lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Andrei Hojas, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave him a new career-high. Trevian Kills Crow was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Tiospaye Topa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Oelrichs, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-14.
