Soccer Game Preview: Red Creek vs. East Rochester

Red Creek is 2-8 against East Rochester since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rams will face off against the Bombers at 7:00 p.m. Red Creek has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Red Creek managed to keep up with Southern Cayuga until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rams lost 5-1 to the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, East Rochester strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Gananda Central a 5-0 shutout. Give East Rochester's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

East Rochester's win bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Red Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Red Creek might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from East Rochester in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
