Preview: Hemingford vs. Burwell
On Friday Hemingford take on Burwell at 5:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Hemingford found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-26 punch to the gut against South Loup last Friday. Hemingford were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.
Meanwhile, Burwell were fully in charge, breezing past West Holt 62-14. With Burwell ahead 35-6, the contest was all but decided by halftime.
Burwell's win lifted them to 2-0 while Hemingford's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Burwell can add another positive mark to their record or if Hemingford can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Burwell's step.
