Recap: Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties vs. East Greenwich Avengers
The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties won the last time they faced the East Greenwich Avengers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mount St. Charles Academy walked away with a 45-34 win over East Greenwich. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mount St. Charles Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount St. Charles Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addie Stojanowski, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Stojanowski is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Anna Dziun, who scored five points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Mount St. Charles Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for East Greenwich, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, Mount St. Charles Academy and East Greenwich will both be playing Woonsocket the next time they take the court. East Greenwich will host Woonsocket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Mount St. Charles Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
