Softball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill managed to slip by Plano West the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Rock Hill lost 7-1 to Plano West on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Blue Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rock Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyana Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Plano West, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Rock Hill will square off against Prosper at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Prosper's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Rock Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Plano West, they will head out on the road to challenge Plano at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
