Baseball Recap: Louisiana Takes a Loss

Louisiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Montgomery County Wildcats, falling 19-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 17-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Louisiana's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Montgomery County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Louisiana has already played their next match (against Monroe City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Montgomery County, they will take on Hannibal at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
