Royal Palm Beach skates past Clewiston with ease

The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats waltzed into Friday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 78-24 win over Clewiston at home.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Royal Palm Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Coney, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. The contest was Coney's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carlos Canales, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Royal Palm Beach's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clewiston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royal Palm Beach will take on Seminole Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seminole Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 510th, while Royal Palm Beach is ranked 113th). As for Clewiston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pahokee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
