Volleyball Recap: Orrick Comes Up Short

Orrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Concordia Fighting Orioles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Orioles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14.

Orrick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Concordia, the win got them back to even at 9-9-3.

Coincidentally, Orrick and Concordia will both be playing Sweet Springs the next time they take the court. The Fighting Orioles will head out to face the Greyhounds at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bearcats will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
