Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Foster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Saltillo over South Panola

Saltillo has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 83-58 to the South Panola Tigers on Tuesday. Saltillo was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced South Panola earlier this season, when they won 67-58.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Foster, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Those 17 points gave Foster a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jack Conner Howell, who posted 14 points and six boards.

Saltillo's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for South Panola, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-18.

As of now, neither Saltillo nor South Panola have any future games scheduled.
