Volleyball Game Preview: Hudson Cobras vs. Anclote Sharks

The Hudson Cobras will face off against the Anclote Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anclote took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hudson, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Hudson turned things around against Fivay on Thursday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Anclote was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Tarpon Springs. While the Sharks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spongers 25-21 in the first set.

Anclote took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Anclote's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Hudson took their win against Anclote in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Cobras repeat their success, or do the Sharks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
